Your Skylight Expert was established to address a specific problem: I had a shadowy area that was perfect for an indoor tree, but there was insufficient light, causing the tree to lose its leaves. After some research, I discovered the Sun Tunnel! A "Tubular Skylight" or "Sun Tunnel" by VELUX turned out to be the perfect solution. It allowed me to provide my plants with the light they needed. However, I encountered a new challenge—there were no direct install dealers in my area. VELUX needed a Skylight Specialist or Dealer, and I needed their product.
Drawing on my 30 years of experience in the remodeling industry, I set out to solve both problems. Thus, Your Skylight Expert was founded to become the Skylight Specialist in Cincinnati and now serves Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana. After several years in the industry, we recognized that our customers also required home ventilation products. To meet this need, we partnered with QuietCool to offer the best whole-house fans and Attic Ventilation available. Additionally, to continue our commitment to problem-solving, we developed a bathroom ventilation system that works effectively. This system quickly removes hot, moist air from your bathroom with an exhaust fan that vents directly through the roof, NOT into your attic.
